Simon Das, Managing Director, Attends Bridging and Commercial Roundtable

On the 5th April 2019, Managing Director Simon Das attended Bridging and Commercial’s second instalment of their roundtable series, having been invited to offer his professional opinion on the discussion topic: “How have BTL lender departures impacted bridging exits, hybrid products and reliance on underwriters”.

Simon shared the roundtable discussion with Gavin Diamond, Commercial Director of Bridging at United Trust Bank , Ranjeev Kumar, partner at Watson Farley & Williams, Alex Searl, Head of Sales of Hampshire Trust Bank and other industry experts. Simon reflected on the roundtable:

“It was good to share ideas and opinions and comforting to find we were (generally) in agreement. The alternative finance sector continues to innovate even in a steady market. With the current economic climate and continued political uncertainty, I am sure we will see further innovation in our marketplace over the coming months.”
